Conference Brief
The 2019 2nd International Conference on Computing, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies (iCoMET) is another remarkable effort of Sukkur IBA University towards its commitment for creating a research-based community. The iCoMET endeavors to provide a forum and premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, scientists, practitioners, academicians and students to present and discuss their contributions to the recent technological advances, innovations and experiences in the area of computing, mathematics and engineering technologies. The theme of the iCoMET 2019 is “Sustainable Technologies for Socioeconomic Development”.
The conference has three major tracks and Twenty egiht sub-tracks. The deliberations will be in a form of accepted papers presentations, keynotes and invited talks. Specifically, the conference focuses on all areas of Software Engineering, Computer Communication and Networks, Social Networking and Data Sciences, Ubiquitous Computing, Soft Computing, Renewable Energy Sources and Storage, Electrical Machines and Adjustable Speed Drives, Power Electronics and its Application, High Voltage Engineering and Insulation Technology, Communications and Signal Processing Technology, Biomedical Electronics/ICT Applied Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Finance, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Stochastic Processes. Moreover, the conference emphasizes on the innovations, inventions and integration to improve the quality of different stakeholders of society through the usage of computational technologies for socioeconomic development.
Researchers from more than 30 countries including USA, UK, Italy, Australia, France, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Korea, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and others submitted 402 research papers covering various domains related to conference theme. After the rigorous review process from technical program committee comprising of more than 100 renowned researchers from various technological advance countries, a total of 177 papers are accepted for presentation and 146 papers for publication in the conference proceedings. Overall, the acceptance ratio is 37%.
